Royal Cashmere is remarkably light and has a softness that is seldom rivaled. All of the colors are truly lovely: black, blue gray, deep red, lavender, and sage green.

Noro Silk Garden...for SOCKS!

Last week our UPS guy delivered so much yarn! I gasped when he went out to his truck for the third time. (So much for asking our distributor to break up the order and stagger the deliveries.)

We received the newest line from Noro, Silk Garden Sock yarn! This new yarn comes in six beautiful colors. It runs $20 for a 100g/328m skein and that's enough for a pair of adult-sized socks.

Cat Bordhi How-To Videos

While I was searching for videos of the Berlin Zoo's new baby panda on, I made a pleasant knitting discovery. Cat Bordhi (of sock designing and moebius knitting fame) has her own channel on youtube. Here you'll find companion videos for many of the patterns featured in her newest sock book, New Pathways for Sock Knitters.

For those not familiar with knitting socks on two circular needles, Cat demonstrates her "signature move" in a two part video.

Cat also demonstrates....
